Alain Passard at Josef Chromy Wines

Josef Chromy Wines is thrilled to announce this week that it will host a five-course lunch prepared by world-famous chef Alain Passard on Wednesday 29th March 2017.

During the months of March and April next year Launceston in Tasmania will welcome renowned chefs Alain Passard of three michelin-starred L'Arpège in Paris, Christian Puglisi from Relæ and Manfred's in Copenhagen, and Dominique Crenn from Atelier Crenn in San Francisco to work with students from Launceston's tourism and hospitality school TasTAFE Drysdale as part of its 'Great Chef Series'.  The famous chefs will work alongside students, using Tasmanian produce, to deliver a series of degustation events unparalleled in recent times. These events have been designed to deliver an exceptional vocational education experience for TasTAFE Drysdale students by exposure to the highest possible cookery thought leaders in the world.

During Chef Passard's 8 day visit he and his sous chefs from L'Arpège will also work with apprentice chefs to deliver a five-course lunch at Josef Chromy Wines in the picturesque surrounds of nearby Relbia.  Tickets are priced at $250.00 per person.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Tasmanian locals and visitors to sample the work of Chef Passard so tickets are sure to sell out fast.
