Now in its third year, the Great Chefs Series is a collaboration led by Josef Chromy Wines, Tourism Northern Tasmania and TasTAFE Drysdale. The series provides an innovative teaching environment and unique learning opportunities for Tasmanian cookery and kitchen operations students.
Between May and October 2018, Josef Chromy Wines will host a series of 7-course degustation dinners prepared by visiting guest chefs and Tasmanian students. The dinners will feature fine Tasmanian produce matched with premium Josef Chromy wines.
Mark Best has won Chef of the Year in the annual Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide, Restaurant of the Year in Australian Gourmet Traveler, Sydney Morning Herald, Time Out magazine and in the Restaurant and Catering Association’s Awards for Excellence. Marque has also featured for three years running in the San Pellegrino & Restaurant Magazine’s-Worlds 50 Best commencing with the 2010 “Breakthrough award”
Mark currently operates Bistro by Mark Best on the luxury cruise liner "Gentling Dream" and is part of the global ambassador family.
