Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia

A Break From The Norm

We've said it before and we'll say it again: There's more to our fabulous wine regions than drop-in tastings at the cellar door.  We offer a variety of experiences that allow you to combine your wine tasting journey with an activity that celebrates the unique identity of the winery, its environment or the best of its surrounding region.

These experiences make great presents - the gift of wine tasting, combined with a taste of the unexpected:

RICHARD GUNNER SAUSAGE MAKING, Wirra Wirra Wines

The team at Richard Gunner’s Feast Fine Foods are pretty serious when it comes to meat.

Join them in this hands-on sausage-making class, where you’ll get to create your own flavoured snags and take your bounty home. A tasting of Wirra Wirra wines will follow along with a sensational BBQ lunch.

THIS IS YOUR LIFE, Seppeltsfield

Create your own journey through the Centennial Cellar, by selecting 5 different years, from 1902 onwards, to taste and contemplate from significant moments over your life.

Whether it be your family’s birth years, a collection of significant years throughout your life, or even milestones for your workplace or business, we take your guidance to create a Centennial Cellar experience personal to you.

WETLANDS ECOLOGY TOUR, Tahbilk

An eco tour though the wetlands surrounding some of Australia's oldest vines.

Accompanied by an expert guide walk the wetlands trail whilst our guide explains the restoration work that has been completed, the work being done to save the endangered species that live in the wetlands and the impact the ecological work has on the winery and wines.

Combine your tour with a Winemakers' Secret Art, wine blending experience, and you've got yourself the ultimate Tahbilk day out.

WINE MEETS MONA ART DAY TOUR, Moorilla

Mona, the Museum of Old and New Art, is Australia’s largest privately owned gallery and museum. Showcasing the diverse collection of its owner, Tasmanian gambler David Walsh, the collection ranges from ancient Egyptian funerary objects to modernist masterpieces and international contemporary art.

On the Wine Meets Mona Art Day Tour, combine a visit to Mona with lunch overlooking the River Derwent in The Source Restaurant, a behind the scenes winery and vineyard tour followed by a private tasting in the underground tasting room.  Ferry transfers to/from Hobart are inclued.
