Congratulations to Stuart Hordern, new Chief Winemaker at Brokenwood Wines, marking only the second person to hold this esteemed position in Brokenwood's 54-year history!

Stuart's journey at Brokenwood began in 2009 as an Assistant Winemaker, showcasing his extensive knowledge of winemaking and deep passion for the Hunter Valley region. With prior experiences at Tyrrell's and several vintages in France, Stuart has become an invaluable asset to the winemaking family.

Under Stuart's leadership, the Brokenwood team has significantly enhanced the quality of their wines. Notably, the Brokenwood Graveyard Vineyard Shiraz maintains its prestigious position as the highest level of Langton's Classification, being the only red wine in New South Wales to hold this distinction.
