Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia

Icons of the Barossa

We are delighted to announce our brand-new Icons of the Barossa experience. We've hand-picked three of the region's best winery experiences to create the perfect day out in the Barossa Valley.

11:00am - Starting at St Hugo, the Riedel Masterclass is a journey of wine discovery like you've never experienced before. Learn how glassware influences the taste and enjoyment of St Hugo wines and discover for yourself how a varietal specific wine glass is a critical component of enjoying wine to its fullest as you taste through four St Hugo favourites.

1:00pm - Head to Yalumba for the Yalumba Picnic Experience. Join a Wine Ambassador for a private Best of Barossa tasting and learn about Distinguished Sites wines. After your tasting, choose one of these wines to enjoy with lunch (valued up to $50). With your map and picnic rug in hand, choose a spot to enjoy your local artisanal produce picnic (an alternative indoor location will be offered in the event of inclement weather). You can even play some lawn games if you choose!

3:30pm - Finish your day at Seppeltsfield, on a Taste of History Tour. Taste a 100 year old wine on this tour in the jewel in the crown of Seppeltsfield estate - the historic 1878 Centennial Cellar.  The tour takes guests into an icon of wine history to taste the legendary 100 year old Para Vintage Tawny. This is truly a once in a lifetime wine experience. Seppeltsfield also offers 420 acres of spectacular vineyards, heritage buildings and picturesque grounds for visitors to enjoy.

If you would like to stay overnight, The Lodge at Seppeltsfield is ideally situated, just a short walk from the Seppeltsfield Estate.
