2023 NSW Wine Awards

Congratulations to our NSW Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia members on their victories at the recent 2023 ICC Sydney NSW Wine Awards!

Launched in 1996, the New South Wales Wine Awards highlight the excellent wines of NSW, showcasing the industry's growth and diversity. Recognising potential in new regions, they play a pivotal role in NSW's wine story.

Our Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia trophy winners are:

NSW DPI Trophy for Best Semillon - Brokenwood 2017 ILR Reserve Semillon, Hunter Valley

ICC Sydney Trophy for Best Sparkling Wine - Printhie Wines Swift 2015 Brut, Orange

Four gold medals were also awarded to Brokenwood Wines, and three gold medals to both Printhie Wines and Tyrrell's.

A very special congratulations also to Tom Ward from Swinging Bridge in Orange, who received the prestigious 2022 Graham Gregory Award. This award is the top honour in the NSW wine industry, and acknowledges outstanding contributions in leadership, research, winemaking, education, and market development. Tom is the youngest ever recipient of this year's award, showcasing his impactful leadership in state and regional organisations. His dedication has not only elevated the profile of NSW wines but also created a platform for others to thrive.
