Estate Tour & Discovery Menu: Voyager Estate, Margaret River WA

This is the full Voyager Estate experience, from vine to wine, and garden to table.

As you are taken around Voyager Estate, your tour guide provides you with an insight into life at Voyager; from winemaking and viticulture to the history and personalities of this iconic winery. With only 6 guests at any one time, it’s the best way to explore the Estate.

Discover our vineyards – the lifeblood of the Estate - see our winery barrel hall where you can taste wine from the barrel, and kitchen garden. You will finish the tour with a guided tasting of Voyager Estate wines.

From here, experience a journey of the senses with the famous wine-paired seven-course Wine Discovery Menu.

Centenary Tasting: Seppeltsfield, Barossa Valley SA

The ultimate tour at Seppeltsfield, the Centenary Tour is a once in a lifetime experience. Visit the Seppelt family homestead, followed by a private tasting of super-premium fortified wines. The tour culminates in the 1878 Centennial Cellar, where you will taste your birth year Tawny (direct from barrel) as well as the legendary 100 year old Para Vintage Tawny.

Perfect for lovers of premium fortified wines, this truly memorable experience will stay with you forever. 

The Blending Bench: d'Arenberg, McLaren Vale SA

The Blending Bench is a hands on, interactive experience where you play winemaker.

A palette of wine parcels, each with distinctive flavours and textures, are melded in search of balance, fullness and finesse. The physical bit has been done for you – picking, crushing, fermenting, foot treading, basket pressing and barrel ageing, then its over to you to create a wine that is truly unique.

The Cellar Experience: Vasse Felix, Margaret River WA

This historical tour takes you on an exploration of Margaret River wine at Vasse Felix, the region’s founding wine estate. Your experience begins with a glass of Blanc de Blancs sparkling on arrival before a walking tour of the region’s oldest vines, planted in 1967 by pioneer and Vasse Felix founder Dr Tom Cullity.

After your stroll through the old vines, you’ll gain exclusive access to the Vault - home to the most historic museum wine collection in Margaret River - for this special tasting featuring two of Margaret River’s leading varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

Your experience continues upstairs in the award winning Vasse Felix restaurant, where you’ll enjoy the ultimate treat of a three course set menu show casing local produce, paired with wines including a glass of back vintage Cabernet Sauvignon as enjoyed during your tasting.

Go Behind the Label: Josef Chromy Wines, Tasmania

Go behind the label and explore the winemaking process from grape to glass.

An informative yet informal opportunity to learn a little more about how a vineyard works and how the grapes develop throughout the season. You will taste some wines in their unfinished state before heading to our Cellar Door for a two course lunch of fine Tasmanian produce matched with wines. 

Leeuwin Immersion Experience: Leeuwin Estate, Margaret River WA

Leeuwin Immersion Experience is a relaxed and informative introduction Leeuwin Estate. You will be treated to a morning tea in a private alfresco verandah setting while your host will provide an overview of the history of the region and Leeuwin Estate, information on our world class Leeuwin Concert Series and the philosophy behind the winemaking.

Following morning tea you will be escorted on a behind the scenes tour of the winemaking process, incorporating a visit to the Art Gallery to view the collection of contemporary Australian artworks commissioned for the famous Leeuwin Estate “Art Series” labels. A Wine and Food flight will await you at the conclusion of the tour as your host guides you through five wine and food matches perfectly created from the seasonal menu.

Moorilla's Posh-As Day at MONA: Moorilla,Tasmania

Kick off your Moorilla Experience by sailing from Hobart to Mona the high-speed ferry, complete with onboard bars and sheep to sit on. You’ll be travelling in style in the ferry’s Posh Pit, which includes complimentary Moorilla wine, Moo Brew beer, canapés and a private deck. Arriving at Mona, begin your exploration of the underground galleries.

Moorilla’s Wine Ambassador will then meet you to take you on a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Moorilla winery and vineyard. You’ll taste the wine as it’s being made and delve into the backstory of Moorilla, David Walsh and Claudio Alcorso, who planted Moorilla’s first vines. The tour includes an exclusive tasting of the best wines from Moorilla’s Cloth Label and Muse Series—decanted into fancy glassware, in the moody and glamourous surrounds of the subterranean tasting room.

Indulge in a delicious two-course lunch of seasonal local produce at Mona’s stellar restaurant, with matched wines from Moorilla’s Cloth Label and Muse Series. The rest of the afternoon is yours to see the rest of the museum before returning to Hobart.
