Barossa Wine Indulgence
2 days of pure indulgence in South Australia’s Barossa Valley
Jacob’s Creek is made by Orlando Wines which was founded after Johann Gramp planted his first vines on the banks of Jacob’s Creek in 1847 and thus began a tradition of winemaking over 165 years ago.
The centre offers a memorable culinary tourism experience with a tempting combination of food and wine, and sweeping views of vineyards and hills. The stunning building features benchmark environmental design, based on principles of sustainability, recycling and energy conservation.
Within the Centre, visitors can sample Jacob’s Creek wines as well as cellar door exclusives with a casual or structured wine tasting, learn about the region’s history and heritage in the interpretive gallery or enjoy a lunch at Our Table which offers contemporary Australian food matched to wine recommendations.
We also offer the Jacob’s Creek food and wine sensory experience to enhance visitor’s knowledge of food and wine matching. Outside, visitors can tour the demonstration vineyard of 14 different grapes varieties to learn more about how wine is made, take a walk or cycle through the picturesque grounds which are home to a wealth of native flora and fauna along the banks of Jacob’s Creek or simply enjoy the views from the deck surrounded by the native Australian plant garden.
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and many cellar door exclusives.
