Today Penfold's proudly opened the doors to the new Magill Estate Kitchen and Cellar Door, offering an exceptional, world-class wine experience just outside Adelaide's CBD.
The architecturally-designed Cellar Door is set overlooking the vines and offers an array of tastings and tours. Housing back-vintage wines and private tasting rooms, the Cellar Door is also home to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert's personal collection of Grange, spanning from the experimental 1951 to the current 2010 vintage.
Led by co-Head Chefs, Scott Huggins and Emma McCaskill, Magill Estate Kitchen offers a new everyday dining experience, featuring a grazing menu built on local and fresh ingredients. Dishes include charcuterie and sharing plates which can be expertly matched to an extensive wine list from the Penfolds cellars, including Grange by the glass.
