Until 28 June: Curated by Christine Gregory, Time to Burn examines current fire management practices, with a focus on aerial prescribed burning in Western Australia’s Great Southern and South West regions. Through artistic and community perspectives, the exhibition explores the environmental, cultural, and ecological consequences of these methods. At Vasse Felix, more details here.
5-7 Jun:Another great long weekend activity is Roam Rutherglen. This is Australia's longest running wine festival. Grab your friends, join theStanton & Killeencrew (check out their Hidden Winery Tour in the program) and the other great wineries in the region for this famous annual event.
7 Jun: This King's Birthday weekend travel out to the beautiful King Valley to Pizzini Wines, and join in their Sangiovese E Salsicce Celebration. This includes a long lunch, and In The Grounds - wine, food, music and fun.
11-13 Jun: The National Wine Festival. This will include the show, dinners, masterclasses, and expo. Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia will also be there, so come and say hi. Tickets for all the events are available on their website.
13 Jun: Winter is Tasmania is a special affair, and House of Arras is celebrating with collaboration and enthusiasm for all things winter and farming at two prestigious Tasmanian producers, Pipers Brook Truffles and the House of Arras. A unique celebration of the intricacies of harvest and Winter preparations as well as our faithful working dogs. Details and bookings here.
13 Jun: Enjoy Twilight Markets: Winter Edition, at Sirromet. With cool nights upon us, warm up by the fire, enjoy live music, large array of local market stalls, food trucks, bars and much more!
2nd Friday of the month: On the second Friday of every month Taylors Wines in the Clare Valley hosts Seahorse Sessions. Shake off the work week and slide into the weekend with live music, award-winning wines and delicious pizzas & platters to nibble on.
