d'Arry's Warming Winter Menu

All of our Ultimate Winery Experiences members are proud of their award winning restaurants, showcasing the best in local and seasonal produce.  d'Arry's Verandah Restaurant at d'Arenberg will, from this week, be serving its new Winter menu and it contains some mouthwatering dishes that we can't wait to try out.

In the meantime, Head Chef Peter Reschke has been kind enough to share a simple version of one of d'Arry's delicious dessert recipes.  Best enjoyed with a glass of d'Arenberg The Vintage Fortified Shiraz.

Soft Centred Chocolate Pudding

Serves 4

150g chocolate
75g butter
105g sugar
3 eggs
30g rice flour

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, sugar and rice flour until smooth, then whisk all together so the mixture is nice and smooth.
  3. Spray metal moulds with real eze and line with a disc of bakers paper on the bottom of the mould.
  4. 3/4 fill the moulds, bake on 180°C for 15 minutes and then allow to cool before serving.
