This fascinatig experience starts with a guided tour and tasting, followed by the full St Hugo degustation menu.
Looking straight into the kitchen, you will not only watch the chefs’ work, you will interact with them, discuss ingredients and techniques and learn how our menu is created while enjoying delicious seasonal flavours through a range of dishes, each designed to match with a specific St Hugo wine.
Held in the outdoor garden at the historic Jacob’s Estate, the unique venue provides a picturesque setting for a hands-on cooking experience.
The intimate class involves picking fresh produce from the kitchen garden, which will then be specially prepared into a hearty feast.
After your cooking skills have been put to the test you will enjoy a leisurely lunch matched with Jacob’s Creek wines.
For the ultimate sensory indulgence, take a seat near all the kitchen buzz and be taken on an immersive sensory journey, unearthing the best of South Australia through the lens of The Lane's head chef, James Brinklow.
Seating up to eight guests, an exclusive menu will be created by the chef on the day matched to wines, specially selected to suit each dish. Experience the heartbeat of a fine dining kitchen in action. Discover local, seasonal produce, learn of food and wine matching properties, different cooking techniques and culinary inspirations.
Join the Pizzini family and immerse yourself in warm hospitality and hands on experiences. Following morning tea with Katrina Pizzini at the cellar door head into A tavola! Cooking School where Katrina will lead a class sharing the secrets to preparing traditional Italian style dishes.
