A private tour takes you behind the scenes on winemaking at the estate, where you will meet a winemaker and discover unique historical insights into the Margaret River Wine Region, followed by a tasting of the Vasse Felix Collection. Your experience also includes a walking journey through the original vineyards of Margaret River, learning about the unique geology and climate of the region that defines the wines of Vasse Felix.
Take your new wine knowledge with you into the world of food and wine pairing at the Vasse Felix Restaurant - one of Australia’s most awarded establishments. Discover local produce and the philosophies that guide the Vasse Felix chefs in creating dishes to accentuate the region’s wines. Meet the Chef while enjoying a five course tasting menu paired with wines, before selecting your choice of a bottle of Vasse Felix Premier wine to take away and share with your friends and family.

Vasse Felix was established in 1967 and is Margaret River’s founding wine Estate.
Margaret River experiences the unique combination of a Mediterranean climate, maritime influence and ancient gravel-loam soils making it ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
All winemaking from vine to bottle is controlled within the Estate. Fruit is harvested, fermented and matured in small, separate parcels before each barrel is graded, trial blended and allocated to its final wine, working from the Icon wines, through the Premier, Filius and Classic tiers.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Vasse Felix Estate, which is regarded as one of Australia’s draw-card winery destination experiences and includes a restaurant, cellar door and art gallery.
Vasse Felix wines are available internationally.
Founder Dr Tom Cullity searched the region relentlessly for his first vineyard site, before selecting 8 acres in Wilyabrup, which today remains at the heart of the Vasse Felix Estate.
Vasse Felix produced Margaret River’s first Cabernet Sauvignon at the Estate in 1972 and the wines maintain a reputation as regional and national benchmarks.
Vineyard expansions have been made with equal consideration and an unwavering commitment to Cullity’s simple founding aim; “to make the best possible wine.”
Margaret River’s undulating coastline is spectacular and a well-known international surfing destination. There are also numerous ancient caves that can be explored and many Margaret River Estates, including Vasse Felix, have Restaurants offering modern Australian menus, comprising the outstanding local produce in the region. The Margaret River Gourmet Escape is an annual food and wine festival in November, the festival features numerous fine dining events, attracting international Michelin Star Chefs to the region and thousands of visitors.
