In January 2022, Mandoon Estate in Western Australia’s beautiful Swan Valley once again played host to Australia’s racing identities for the WA Magic Millions Barrier Draw, in association with RWWA.

New and existing owners were invited to attend for an enjoyable afternoon exploring the world of racing, meeting some talented horses and hearing from top WA trainers and breeders.

The media gathered at Mandoon as the horses arrived, and guests were treated to a picturesque race in the vines before the barrier draw took place.

“The horse race in the vineyards was a spectacular way to kick-start the event and The Llawn was the perfect spot for guests to gather and witness the iconic barrier draw,” says Travers O’Rafferty, General Manager, Mandoon Estate.

Following the barrier draw, guests enjoyed a lively after party with grazing trays and pizza served in the Estate’s Surveyor Function Foyer + Terrace, wrapping up a successful event.
