St Hugo & Riedel Fine Wine Experience: St Hugo, Barossa Valley

St Hugo creates some of Australia’s most distinctive fine wines and pays tribute to its namesake Hugo Gramp, through its outstanding wines and elegant Barossa home. Established in 1756, Riedel has been producing glass in the heart of Europe for over 250 years. Together the two iconic brands have carefully curated a unique experience.

Guests will discover how the right glass and the right wine can express impeccable style. In this exclusive experience, be guided through a wine discovery, showcasing how glassware influences the taste and sensory enjoyment of the most premium wines. Moorila's Posh-As Day at MONA: Moorilla, Tasmania

A luxurious day of wine and art at MONA kicking off with a Posh-Pit experience on the MONA high speed ferry, including complimentary Moorilla wine, Moo Brew beer, canapés and a private deck. Arriving at MONA, begin your exploration of the underground galleries before Moorilla’s Wine Ambassador summons you for a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Moorilla winery and vineyard. You’ll taste the wine as it’s being made and delve into the backstory of Moorilla, David Walsh and Claudio Alcorso, who planted Moorilla’s first vines. The tour includes an exclusive tasting of the best wines from Moorilla’s Cloth Label and Muse Series—decanted into fancy glassware, in the moody and glamourous surrounds of the subterranean tasting room. Includes a beautifully-packaged, complimentary bottle of Muse wine for you to take home.

The poshness continues with a delicious two-course lunch of seasonal local produce at one of MONA's stellar restaurants, with matched wines from Moorilla’s Cloth Label and Muse Series. The rest of the afternoon is yours to tour the museum before heading back to Hobart.

The Gem: Gemtree Wines, McLaren Vale

Join Mike Brown, Chief Winemaker, and Melissa Brown, Viticulturist, for a private and exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Gemtree’s 306-acre biodynamic vineyards.

Hear first hand how they’ve transformed Gemtree with biodynamic vineyard practices, restored a cleared piece of land to pre-European settlement status with the planting of over 50,000 native plant species, and visit the secluded centuries-old gum tree where the winery took its name.

Tour the winery and barrel room, enjoy a barrel tasting and end the tour with a private tasting of premium and museum wines with Mike and Melissa, whilst chefs from the celebrated Salopian Inn prepare your seasonally inspired degustation lunch under the trees.

Lunch will be matched with wines from the Premium and Museum range, personally selected by Mike.

Visit the vineyards to learn about grape growing, then wander through the winery to see the steps involved with winemaking.

Voyager's Sommelier will take you through wine tasting techniques and the basics of food and wine matching, followed by a delicious four-course wine-matched lunch in the Voyager Estate Restaurant.
