This week Jacob's Creek has unveiled its newly renovated cellar door, in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The renovation has spanned just over 2 years and is the most significant update to the award-winning cellar door in over fifteen years.
Changes include an extensive upgrade to the Our Table restaurant, a new Blend Bar where guests can blend their own wine, the front of house wine café and store has been updated and there is a new wine experience room dedicated to hosting unique food and wine experiences. The experience room features an interactive history and sensory display that showcases the legacy of Jacob's Creek and the Barossa terroir.
“The home of Jacob's Creek embodies the history of the region and our iconic brand. It’s a beautiful place to visit and discover our winemaking philosophy. As a winery that has won over 8,000 awards, we have a responsibility to provide a destination that allows visitors to enjoy a premium and immersive wine experience.
Whether you have 1 hour or a full day to spend or have a beginners or advanced knowledge of wine, there really is something for everyone at our cellar door.” said Jacob's Creek Chief Winemaker, Daniel Swincer.
The refurbished cellar door is open from the 4th of December, 2018. To celebrate the opening, several exclusive multi-packs will be available that start at 15% off regular purchase price. These include a heritage pack of some of Jacob Creek'ss highest quality wines and a limited-release pack of wines made only for sale at the cellar door.
Jacob's Creek was awarded ‘Best Large Cellar Door’ for South Australian in the 2018 Gourmet Traveller Wine Awards. The home’s award-winning facilities attract around 160,000 visitors from Australia and overseas each year, and the staff have welcomed over one million people since opening in 2002.
