Bold Gestures
A stroll in the vines, relaxing picnic, candlelit …
Witness the Barossa come alive when the Adelaide Fringe breaks free of the city walls, between Friday 14th February and Monday 17th February 2020, showcasing 13 events across multiple venues, including music, cabaret, magic, comedy, art and wellness.
Funny man, Peter Berner, will be on stage in an intimate show within Seppeltsfield's Vintage Cellar with ‘Compassion Pie’.
"Everyday something is reported we have to care about. The questions gets asked, “How much do you care?” Be honest, aren’t you feeling a little worn out from all this caring? Fatigued? Are the demands on your empathy taking an emotional toll? If you think it might be time to work out how to allocate your compassion effectively then this show might be exactly what you need..."
Peter’s long list of career achievements range from banana picker, barman, uni student (briefly), unemployed (occasionally), petrol station attendant (part time).... the list goes on, however with this long list of career achievements means he’s worked hard to slice up his compassion pie.
Tickets are $25, doors open at 7pm and Seppeltsfield will be offering wine and local food, the show starts at 8.30pm. Tickets for all dates are availabe here.
After playing in New York City, London and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, award-winning songstress Amelia Ryan is bringing her uproarious show to the Yalumba Signature Cellar on Saturday 15th February.
"With her signature combination of heart and hilarity, award-winning songstress Amelia will take you on an uproarious, relatable, and revealing foray into motherhood, and asks if the best (and breast) years are a thing of the past, or if they are indeed yet to come."
