Ten Minutes by Tractor Marks a Landmark Year …
Seppeltsfield, one of the Barossa’s most iconic wine and tourism destinations, has sharpened its edge with the official launch of The Tiny Knife Shop - a boutique artisan retail experience by acclaimed bladesmith Barry Gardner.
Celebrated globally for his craftsmanship and known for creating bespoke knives for chefs like Curtis Stone, Barry Gardner has long been part of the creative fabric of the Seppeltsfield Estate through the JamFactory Craft + Design studios.
Now, with the opening of The Tiny Knife Shop, Gardner brings his artistry into sharp focus with a curated retail space located next to the Estate’s Dining Hall. The intimate setting offers visitors the chance to browse and purchase one-of-a-kind handcrafted knives - or commission a custom piece directly from the maker.
The Tiny Knife Shop is more than a boutique, it’s a hands-on, sensory journey that perfectly complements Seppeltsfield’s wine and culinary experiences. It offers visitors a rare chance to engage with a master craftsman, discover the heritage of bladesmithing, and witness the beauty of handmade artistry in action.
This is exactly the kind of immersive encounter Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia is proud to champion - going beyond the tasting room to connect travellers with the people, stories and skills that define a region.

Having recently been named Best Tourism Winery in Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards 2024, inducted into the South Australian Tourism Commission’s 2025 Hall of Fame, and recognised on the recent Forbes Media / Virgin Wines ranking of The World’s 50 Best Wineries - 2025 Seppeltsfield continues to set the standard in premium visitor experiences. The Tiny Knife Shop adds yet another unique layer to its offering, inviting guests to explore creativity, tradition, and skill in a beautifully Barossan way.
As Barry Gardner says:
“A knife, whatever it is used for, should become an extension of your hand… and a real joy to use.”
