Snowy Vineyard Vistas
Printhie Wines in the New South Wales wine …
Gathering together for a memorable day out feels even more precious since the pandemic began. With many of us cut off from those we love, we’ve realised that spending time with friends and family (in real life) is a gift we simply can’t take for granted.
Commune among the vines and create more of those special moments. Many of our Ultimate Winery Experiences are ideal for groups and the perfect way to add to treasured memories that live on in our hearts forever.
Our four remarkable Victorian wineries in the Alpine Valley, Nagambie Lakes and King Valley offer remarkable group experiences, perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, or just an excuse to spend a day in the company of special friends and beloved family.
Prosecco Brunch, Brown Brothers
Gather in your very own private lounge and taste your way through the entire Brown Brothers’ Prosecco range. The conversation flows as you indulge in a gourmet spread of freshly baked sweets and pastries, local Milawa cheeses, house-made delicacies, terrines and seasonal fruits.
Toast the ones you love over an unforgettable brunch and then spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful King Valley.
Private Italian Cooking School Experience, Pizzini Wines
Join the Pizzini family for a hands-on cooking experience. Following morning tea with Katrina Pizzini at the cellar door head into A tavola! Cooking School where Katrina will lead a class sharing the secrets to preparing traditional Italian style dishes.
Prior to lunch, journey to the winery and barrel room to taste exciting Italian wine varieties including Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and Canaiolo as they age in barrels. Following the tasting, lunch will be served and will include the Italian style dishes prepared earlier along with your choice of wine – anything from a fresh Prosecco to an aged Nebbiolo from the family’s reserve range.
Winemaker’s Secret Art, Tahbilk
Gather with your friends or family for an experiential day out where you’ll discover that the secret to winemaking is blending. When it comes to wine (perhaps a little like family) “the whole is greater than the sum of the parts”.
Guided by a Wine Ambassador you will start with individual wines and blend them to create a wine that is truly unique. A 750ml bottle of your blend will be yours to take away. Stay on and enjoy a relaxing two-course lunch with a glass of wine in Tahbilk’s Wetlands’ View Restaurant (additonal cost).
Behind the Wines and Vines, Feathertop
Take a tour of Feathertop winery in the stunning Alpine Valley. The journey begins from a special vantage point in the vineyard where you will be introduced to the varietal mix, the vineyard philosophy and any current operations happening on the day.
Take a behind-the-scenes tour in the winery where your host will explain the wine crushing operations, wine making philosophy, and even taste some tank samples when available. Your tour is complete with a wine tasting of current release wines.
Extend your experience with a stay at Feathertop (extra charges apply). The Peggy Adelaide Suite is designed for couples and allows guests to luxuriate in their private outdoor balcony bath. While the two-bedroom Mt Buffalo View apartment allows for up to 4 guests. This is a true home away from home, with a pot belly fire to keep you warm as you chill out with a glass of red, watching the weather roll over the mountain tops.
